It appears that the University of Virginia had a top 25 team in 2016, but it seems they may not have fully capitalized on the potential for a great season or the engagement of their players. There's a perception that the university overspent on player retention, which is understandable. However, the three new additions to the team are not seen as significant improvements. It's believed that no new transfer players have been impactful enough to overshadow the players who departed. The current transfer players are viewed as merely pieces to a puzzle, rather than upgrades. Relying on a player with an average grade to replace Ugo is considered an ambitious move. I will be sharing the players I believe UVA had an opportunity with, based on my perspective. However, UVA receives a D grade for this summer. These are the facts.
